Black cats are a classic Halloween symbol & have long served as objects of superstition. In Medieval France and Spain, black cats were associated with witchcraft, bringing an element of mystery, magic & protection.
Despite a (very) long history of being known for mischief and mayhem, we’re a fan of the black cat, and Midnight is bound to be one of your fav little creatures.
Product Description
Midnight our handmade wooden cat is wearing an adorable wizard hat and is sitting on top of a stack of magical books. There are two colour option available:
- Black - Midnight has black fur and a peach-coloured wizard hat. Detailed with a toadstool and wandering vines, this mystical design is perfect for Halloween.
- Blue - Has pastel blue fur and a black-coloured wizard hat. Detailed with whimsical daisies and cheeky cat whiskers.
Midnight the cat pairs beautifully with our Wooden Witches and other items from our Spellbound Collection.
Midnight is approximately 12cm high, 7cm wide and 2cm deep.
Made from FSC certified Pine which has been handcrafted locally by an Australian woodworker. Midnight is hand-painted with non-toxic high quality acrylic paints and sealer. This product comes with a handmade cotton drawstring bag for safe keeping.
Timeframes
These items will be made to order and will have a turnaround time of approximately 1-2 weeks. This turnaround time is our best estimate and does not include shipping timeframes.
Our shipping is weight & dimension based - starting at $10 for orders under 500 grams in Australia. Please read our Customer Care & Shipping page for more details regarding shipping timeframes, insurance and fees.
If you wanted to place a larger/heavier order, it might be worth combining your order with a friend and sharing the shipping costs.
Collections and Suitability
This collection is suitable for ages 4+ ~ although non-toxic, our products are not intended as chew toys. Small parts may be a choking hazard for young children, so please take care around your little ones.
Due to the handcrafted nature of these product, each item is slightly different with its own personality.
We facilitate imaginary and open-ended play, sparking your child's creativity. Some suggested uses to help alleviate worry, or ideas for imaginary play can be found in our Folk Story.
